The Client of this Project belongs to the Middle-East. Our Client’s line of work calls for associations with Vendors/Merchants. And as a result, Our Client had tie-ups with numerous local vendors belonging to different Market Industries.

Our Client observed that these local vendors did not have a proper Platform where they can reach out to Users to provide their products and services. They were making se of advertisement portals like Facebook and Google Ads to showcase their product deals and offers.

But the problem with these platforms was that they were too costly. Moreover, all the ads displaying their deals/offers were scattered and distributed on different platforms. This was making it hard for the vendors to organize and keep track of their Sales. And Hence, leading to a decline in the growth of their Business revenue and profits.

Our Client wanted to help the Vendors to grow their Business. So Our Client came up with this idea to develop an online platform solely dedicated to promoting the deals and offers provided by these vendors. The vision was to create a digital e-commerce Marketplace that would be of value to Vendors as well as Users.

Our Client wanted to build a complete software which would act as a common Platform for:
  • Vendors to boost their Sales by promoting their deals/offers
  • Users to save their money by viewing and comparing these deals/offers

With this idea and Vision, Our Client approached Us at ChromeInfotech to help transform his thoughts and ideas into a full-fledged working Software.

Challenges We encountered and successfully
resolved during the project
Challenge 1: Shaping Our Clients vague Idea into a valid and viable concept

Our Client came to Us with an idea and a thought which was not specific. The Client provided Us an overall Idea. And It was Our job to polish it into a workable and concrete one.

Our Solution:

To overcome this, Our Business Analyst Team carried Out thorough and intensive Research. They went through other Software belonging to a similar domain. Any use cases were also studied in the process. After putting in a lot of time and effort, We were able to come up with detailed and accurate ideas for the Project.

Challenge 2: Providing better performance and Maintaining uniformity of this Image-heavy Platform

This software comprises mostly of Images and banners displaying the deals/offers. Such an image-heavy platform is generally inclined towards being slow-performing. Also, the images and banners provided by different Vendors varied in sizes.

Our Solution:

Form the very first step of the Project, We used specific tools and techniques to provide a High-Performing Software. Our development team designed specific architecture to overcome this problem. We also carried out particular server configurations in a way that would make the software fast.

To overcome the issue of maintaining uniformity with the images and banners, We implemented various tools. These tools would resize the images to a particular size and resolution. Hence, helping to provide clarity to the Users through a visually appealing UI.

Challenge 3: Maintaining a consistent UI while providing Multilingual Support

Our Client wanted this software to be supported by two languages-English and Arabic.The challenge was that Our team do not know the Arabic Script. Moreover, the Arabic Scripture, unlike English, is written from Right to Left. This required us to design a UI that could remain consistent and visually appealing with both the languages.

Our Solution:

We adopted 3rd Party Language Interpreter APIs using which We could translate texts to Arabic. We also received a lot of Support from Our Client who coordinated with Us regularly throughout this phase. The UI issue was resolved by the work provided by Our expert programmers and developers. They designed customized UI frameworks to accommodate both Arabic and English appealingly.

Challenge 4: Selection of Cloud Server for Hosting the Software

The region that Our Client belonged to had provided limited access to Cloud Servers. Their Government rules and policies apply a restriction to the usage of most Cloud Servers.

Our Solution:

We along with Our Client approached and coordinated with various Cloud hosting services providing Firms. Out of all of them, 2 to 3 Companies were willing to provide their services to Our Client. And We finally approved Amazon Web Services for hosting the Software. This phase itself took Up a lot of time. But We were able to Host the Platform successfully.

Challenge 5: Coordinating with the Client from a different Time Zone

Our Client belonged from a Country that had different time-zone than Us. The challenge was to effectively coordinate with Our Client and his team with a difference in the time zone.

Our Solution:

Our team at ChromeInfotech worked extra hours to ensure that the Project proceeded forward without any issues.` Our team worked in different shifts to cope up with the difference in time lag. As a result, We were able to coordinate with Our Client consistently.

Outcome

We were successful in completing the Project well within the estimated time and delivered a product that met the expectations of Our Client. The greatest success for Us as well Our Client is that this Platform is genuinely adding value to peoples lives.

After its release in the Market, more and more Vendors are making use of this platform. It is helping Vendors to enrich their Businesses and draw in more profits. We have also received a lot of positive feedbacks from Users stating that this software is helping them to save their money and even time. So it’s a win-win situation for both Vendors and Users.

Our Client is also delighted with the software Product since it turned out exactly like the way as expected. Also, Our Client was so impressed with Our work and the whole Experience that He recommended Us as a technology partner to many of his Associates. So all in all, it was a successful Project for ChromeInfotech.
